Most people, including Christians, are not fully prepared for natural and unnatural disasters. People in general are unwittingly dependent upon a consumer based system of money and exchange. But what would they do if the economy failed? Where would they go if there was a modern day depression? And how would they live if there was a 7.5 earthquake? (California, especially Southern coasts, will experience one like this) …and more!
How one prepares is empirical. What can be done to survive is universal. Below are the essentials in preparation for this type of scenario.
1) Sustainable living without the need for the economic system
2) Basic survival skills such as hunting and fishing
3) Knowledge of wildlife and what to avoid
4) Farming, gardening, planting, harvesting, and preserving food as well as collecting fresh water
5) Building shelters and maintaining them through all four seasons
This is one of the most fundamental questions of all prophecy as it relates to the coming of the Lord Jesus, the second advent that will be full and clear. The mystery will be known and all will see and hear. It is described as a sudden trumpet blast by an archangel that announces and draws attention to the return of the Lord. This is the Bridegroom who had prepared a place for His bride and who has awaited His return. How does one prepare for it, the end, the new beginning? Like a bride readied for the marriage of her beloved. No, not with focus on all the physical manifestations surrounding the event, but the preparation within the human heart, that grave desire, a meaningful existence, and coming from the one who has made the wedding possible. And what does the bride do, what has she already done, what has she been longing for all her life? Yes, the man and indeed the God who gave her breath at first glance and filled her lungs with life and sweet tenderness so that even in His sternness forgives the deepest of rebellion and depravity, wipes away lust and ignorance, washes clean malice, and pardons all foolish convictions and jealous rage.
How does one prepare?
1. Inwardly: “You must be born again…. Flesh gives birth to flesh but spirit bares that of spirit”.
2. Spiritual growth and development: A teachable man learns much and produces fruit with great benefit.
3. Mental growth and development: ” Be trasformed by the renewing of your mind…so that you may stand approved”
4. Physical preparation and readiness: This is where the practical is applied in that of water, food, shelter, safety, and how to maintain them.

1. THE PHYSICAL: Being able to take care of our own bodies is vital and at the base of human growth. It is important to survive and exist in this world without dependence on the economic system we all currently rely on. Seth En Way and his team teach the basics such as how to build a shelter, create an edible garden, how to harvest, preserve foods (canning, drying and pickling), fishing, collecting water and other survival skills that one must know to live self-sufficiently.
2. THE MENTAL: The abilities one possesses and to what each person naturally gravitates toward is all a part of the mental existence we all have inside of us. This includes learning, accepting and working with the gifts and talents that God has innately given us. One person may be good with building a structure where another may be blessed with the talents of growing and harvesting a garden. What is key is to realize each gift and talent and how to work together to survive and thrive in this world. A part of this process Seth En Way shows is to keep each mind growing, maturing in an active and healthy way. Constantly persuing one’s natural abilities is a huge part of this development.
3. THE SPIRITUAL: The reason and meaning behind all of life and teachings is designed to bring everything together in a harmonious form. It answers the question of ‘Is there is a God’ and ‘Why there is a God?’ Other questions can be answered during this process such as ‘why life is created by the Creator’ and ‘why does life exist with a natural order of things?’ This is the most involved area of expertise Seth En Way teaches with those interested in personal growth and involves philosophical openness and thought. Much is gained through the learning and sharing process such that how we function and relate to one another. Here, creating purposeful, thoughtful and spiritual beings is relayed clearly. Those who master these classes will see themselves as spiritual beings and how it is that we possess body, mind and spirit while working harmoniously together.
